Eddie has been a Beaver leader for over 10 years. She is married with 4 grand-children.
Katie, Dani and Chelsea have just started their Adult Leader Training programme.
THIS TERM'S PROGRAMME
We meet at St. Richard’s Church hall, Collingwood Road (Post code: BN12 6HZ). For any night when we do not meet in the Hall Gill will advise you about this in a letter.
WHAT WE OFFER
Beaver Scouts are the youngest section of the Scouting family. Their activities are based around making things, outdoor activities, singing, playing games, going out on visits, investigating nature, listening to stories, learning how to be safe and most importantly, making new friends.
Children join a Beaver Scout Colony for many reasons. It might be they have heard great things from their friends about all the things the Colony gets up to every week. Perhaps parents or carers are keen for them to join. Whatever their reasons, our weekly programme encourages them to stay.
During their time at Beavers the children are continuously working towards attaining their 6 Challenge badges (Friendship, Creative, Fitness, Global, Promise and Outdoor). The programs we produce each term is structured to include the necessary requirements for these, so, as long as your child attends regularly, they will acquire these badges with no input needed outside Beavers.
I will send out notes/ update the website nearer the time with details for the activities that are not held at the Church Hall.
Subs as usual are £40 per term or £20 per each half term
